Texting and
driving is a serious problem we face today. Thousands of innocent lives are
being taken unnecessarily and can be prevented. This problem can be fixed by
those who have anything and everything to do with a cellular device. Texting
behind the wheel is extremely dangerous. Cell phone companies have the
capability to control this potential addiction, so why don’t they? Having cell
phone technology companies putting restrictions on electronic devices as well
as enforcing laws can lower the risk of car accidents. In order to regain
control, this involves cell phone companies, service providers, app developers,
and local and state governments developing and implementing laws.
